Mr. Marmalade

Went and saw Mr. Marmalade at the Washington Ensemble Theater. I think everyone found the show engaging, and at points downright hilarious. I give the show the thumbs up, it's worth checking out.
My favorite scene of the whole play involved a sunflower turning to Mr. Marmalade and yelling "Cuckold!" I mean, how absurd. Also, the moment where Lucy tells her imaginary friend, "No, Mr. Marmalade, I would not like any cocaine!" It's repeated juxtoposition of adult themes mixed with childhood imaginings that make the humor of this show work fabulously.
